The Male Body: An Owner's Manual: The Ultimate Head-to-Toe Guide to Staying Healthy and Fit for Life

Review

Men’s Health magazine has created a publishing phenomenon out of what could be described as the Four Ps: penis, pump, prostate, potbelly. Almost every article in every issue of the magazine has something to do with preventing heart attack, preventing prostate cancer, preventing impotence, or reversing waistline bulges. This Owner’s Manual mercifully strays beyond those four topics, to offer advice on how men can wear makeup, deal with “bashful bladder syndrome” and male breast cancer, and reverse circumcision. There’s also a lot of perfectly useful information about how the body works and how to make it work better, but the esoterica is a lot more fun to read.
