remember when a salad consisted of a wedge of iceberg lettuce, some tomatoes and Krafts French Dressing. At the time I think arugula was only served in Europe. Perhaps iceberg lettuce can be compared to Classic Coke, so revisit a simpler time. I promise fresh from the garden lettuce will be alot crisper than the ones our mothers purchased from the grocery.
